Wireless Data Collection and Monitoring using Tempurity™The Networked Robotics Tempurity™ System uses standard wired, wireless, or ethernet-over-power networks to implement data collection. With Tempurity all of your freezers will have standard network addresses. Every freezer, incubator, cryofreezer, or other instrument becomes part of your standard network and can be communicated to and managed via standard network commands. The figure shows the wireless Networked Robotics NTMS4p. The NTMS4p supports data collection from four diverse scientific instruments or sensors. The unit supports WPA, WPA2, and with configuration WPA-Enterprise wireless encryption. Sensors are not required for many freezer, incubator, and cryofreezer types from many vendors. In these cases our network hardware can acquire data directly from the instrument's data port thus using the instrument's internal sensors. Investigate the Possibilities of Integrated Scientific Network Data CollectionYou can choose to receive alerts (Networked Robotics calls these "alarm notifications") of e-mail, cell phone text messages, or voice when temperatures (or voltage, or liquid nitrorgen level, or weight, or co2 concentration, etc.) fall outside of the allowed range. Most importantly your integrated and customizable display of all of your monitoring instrumentation is available from any computer. With an integrated wireless monitoring system, you can stay on top of things at all times and move quickly to correct problems. Now there's no reason not to know.
